Billy I want you to ring The Louvre NOW and alert them to this MASTERPIECE. Is it the turquoise tummy or the pigeon-toed slippers, the wide-awake eyes or hitchhiker's thumb - I dunno, but your friend's got whole backyards full of personality!
Faisal i am very flattered by your outrageous suggestion but please not do any such thing.. I am over the hollow sphere of being 'out' there! I have a preference for mucker gardener types who make gardens without the need for green wellies and and a copy of GI in the hamper..they don't know who Oudolf et al are and neither do they care..they get down and dirty and generally the nursery trade love em because they tend to require more replacement plants than those a little more informed..but they also can create rather nifty equations!
P.S. it is a lonely road very often in the garden..my friend as you put it Faisal is my muse..it seems to be more flexible than me though!
We always have to remember, Mr Wabbit, why we do it. And that's because it makes us feel good. And feeling good is what matters.
Yes, the maker's the one who knows what's gone into it. Others often only see the finished product, if they can even see that.
